Friend! Hope for the Beloved while you are alive!

Experience while you are alive, understand while you are alive!

Salvation is something that happens in this life.

If your bonds aren’t broken in this life,

do you think someone will break them for you after death?

It’s a dream, a fantasy, that the soul will join with the Beloved

            just because the body falls away.

What is found now is found then.

If the Beloved you desire isn’t met now, you are only

             on your way to the City of Death.

If you have union now, you will have it in the next life.

Immerse yourself in the truth, discover the true Teacher, have faith

              in the true Name!

Kabir says: “What helps is the spirit of seeking.

             In me, you see a slave of that spirit.”
