Our Copyright Policy
Our main concern is to afford a measure of protection to our production and editorial staff by publishing as a part of Wagner Columbus Publishing Co Ltd., a limited liability company originally created to produce and market the Voegelin in Toronto DVD. VoegelinView staff acting on our behalf as employees or agents are protected against libel or other claims.
Since VoegelinView doesn't pay our contributors, VoegelinView won't claim ownership of original article submissions or publications.
Contributors who prepare original content and copyright it themselves may request us to add to the bottom of their article, Copyright © 20_ _ (Contributors name). Current U.S. copyright law does not actually require the inclusion of these traditional words or abbreviations to protect intellectual property.
What happens if you publish your work at VoegelinView and then wish to republish it elsewhere? VoegelinView gives blanket permission to all authors to republish their work elsewhere. If your publisher doesn't want material previously published, we will remove your content if you ask us.
There is an important reason for this accommodation. We want to attract Voegelinians who wish to test their ideas in a friendly environment. After your work is edited, published, and perhaps criticized online, you may feel better prepared to publish elsewhere. If you publish elsewhere, and If appropriate, you might add an attribution that it was originally published at voegelinview.com.
Voegelinview's policy is to treat your writings however you wish to have them treated. By default we will not claim specific copyright for any article published in VoegelinView but only display this general language in the footer: Contents Copyright © Wagner Columbus Publishing Co Ltd.
In the unlikely event VoegelinView were to generate revenue through its publication we would have to reconsider these policies.
